Krzysztof Borusowski, President of the Board BEST S.A.

He has many years of experience in a broad range of financial services. As the Managing Director of Kouri Capital Poland Ltd. and BBH Capital Partners Sp. z o.o. he led M&A projects in the field of investment banking in the following institutions: Polsko-Amerykański Bank Hipoteczny S.A., BWR S.A., BWR Bank Secesyjny S.A. and Cuprum Bank S.A. In 2002, he successfully completed a project involving the development of a financial group around Dominet S.A., including the purchase of Cuprum Bank S.A. and the introduction of a financial investor from the Merrill Lynch Group. He worked as a consultant at Bain & Company in Boston (USA) and as a manager at Schroder Poland. He represented the State Treasury in the Supervisory Board of BPH S.A. until the bank’s privatisation. He is a graduate of Economics at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Paweł Kuśmierowski, Vice President of the Board NEUCA S.A.

Paweł Kuśmierowski graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków as well as IESE Business School. From 2016-2018 he was associated with PZU Zdrowie (from May 2017 he was a member of the Board of Directors, previously the director of the Operations Division). He created a strategy for the development of a healthcare business within the PZU Group. Previously, from 2010-2016 he was the director of the Transformation Program at PZU SA and PZU Życie, responsible for the business concept, sales and service development strategy, as well as transforming the organization to a new model of customer relations.  Before joining the PZU Paweł Kuśmierowski held managerial positions at companies such as Multimedia Polska and Orange. Earlier in the 1990s, he gained experience in consulting at A.T.Kearney, Accenture and Deloitte&Touche. He became a member of NEUCA Group’s Board of Directors in March 2019. He is responsible for managing the area of patient businesses.


Agata graduated from aerospace engineering at the University of Glasgow and is now a PhD student at the University of Southampton. She works as a Pathways Operation Manager in the Wroclaw branch of Amazon, where she is responsible for managing operations in the Amazon Realisation Center.

Privately she is a sports enthusiast and was part of her university team in track cycling. She has won numerous medals in the UK Championships and supported the UK national team in preparations for Winter Olympic Games in 2018. She also completed Ironman Mallorca in 2016.

Academic Mentors

Klaudia, University of Oxford

She is a PPE student.  She will help you choose a suitable university, write an interesting Personal Statement and advise on the application process. Besides her studies she likes traveling, dance and martial arts. She is also interested in the history of art and photography.

Kajetan, Sciences Po Paris

This year he graduated from Sciences Po Paris, where he studied PPE and then Finance and Strategy. He will prove that there are interesting courses besides those in the UK and the US. He is an enthusiast of skiing and debating. He is a co-founder of the first polish student organization in France.

Julia, University of Oxford

She is currently studying medicine at Lincoln College, University of Oxford. She is an alumna of the scholarship program UWC Poland. In May of 2019, she started an undergraduate program concerning melanotic cancer in the oncology department. In the future, she would like to work both in the clinical and academic fields. In her spare time, she rows in the college rowing club.

Mateusz, New York University Abu Dhabi

He is a polish entrepreneur and investor. He is the finalist of Forbes 30 Under 30 contest. He is the creator of a communicator for deaf people called Five App and several other projects in the Blockchain and financial industry. Mateusz is going to advise on how to combine academic work with business projects and also how to carry out an initiative from the creative stage up to implementation and attracting investors and first clients.

Gosia, University College London

She studies medicine. She is passionate about music and she recently attended a music conservatory. She will talk about the application process for medicine in the UK. She will also advise on preparation for BMAT and how to prepare an outstanding university application for Medicine and science courses. She was a participant and an organizer of numerous European Youth Parliament conferences, which made her fall in love with traveling.

Kacper, Harvard University

He studies mathematics and economics. He will provide help in preparing for the SAT (Reasoning and Subject) and also in preparing a strategy for writing essays and preparing for interviews. Besides his studies and work, he is a musician (he plays drums) and is interested in technology, global politics, and business.

Marta, University of Oxford

She is an engineering student, which has always been her dream. She received the BAS scholarship and in her spare time, she takes part in outreach projects. She will tell you how to prepare for admission tests for science courses and how to best perform during the interviews for the best British universities. She has been training in karate for eight years and is a member of the Oxford University Karate Club.

Andrzej, Bocconi University

He is an alumnus of the Batory High School in Warsaw. He is currently a student at Bocconi University in Milan. He has won numerous history contests even though he studies economics. Besides that, he is a fan of bad books and films and likes good company. In his spare time, he sails, skiis, windsurfs and enjoys following football.

Piotr, University of Oxford

He is a current second-year mathematics student at Christ Church college, University of Oxford. He will be sharing important tips to help you formulate a successful application for science courses at British universities. In his spare time, he plays in the college football team and is interested in technology and sports.

Julia, University of Oxford

She studies chemistry. She will help you in writing a successful university application and advise you on what extracurricular activities to take to improve your Personal Statement. Alongside her studies, she cooks and is an amateur swimmer. She is also interested in logical games and historical documentary films.

Maciek, University of Edinburgh

He currently studies computer sciences and will next year be residing in Toronto. He will talk about the possibilities of working in start-ups during and after studies. In his spare time, he plays tennis, sails and looks for cheap flight tickets. He has previously created successful mobile apps for iOS and Android systems.

Agnieszka, London School of Economics

She is a postgraduate management student in London who has previously completed a degree in Law from Dundee university in Scotland. She also took part in the Erasmus program in Spain. She is going to share her experience on finance, studying abroad and getting a job within an international corporation in the UK including consulting, IT and consumer good sectors.

Aside from her studies, Agnieszka is involved in several projects — she was the founder of the first polish society at Dundee University and the leader of a consulting project for a London start-up (in which she was leading a group of 7 students). She was also a co-organizer of the largest polish economic conference called the the UK: LSE Polish Economic Forum 2019.

Dobromił, London School of Economics

An alumni of Stefan Batory High School in Warsaw, he studies philosophy and politics. He will talk about the benefits of non-standard combinations of subjects at Matura and how to get the dream scholarship. In his free time, he is an amateur cook, sailor and debate enthusiast.
